Scope
Full structural rebuild and redesign of an aging shop building. Work included demolition down to the frame, reconfiguration of the layout, installation of new exterior siding, and the addition of functional interior spaces including a loft and bathroom. Exterior access was also upgraded with a new staircase and decking.
Challenges
The original structure was nearing failure, with a sagging roof, inefficient layout, and compromised integrity. The project required more than repair—it demanded a complete rethink of both structure and usability while working within the limits of the existing footprint.
Materials
Vertical metal panel siding for durability and low maintenance
Deep red exterior finish with white trim for a clean, modern look
Wood decking for the exterior staircase
Standard framing and interior materials to support the loft and bathroom additions
Timeline
Executed as a full-scope rebuild, beginning with structural strip-down, followed by framing, exterior installation, and interior build-out. Each phase was completed in sequence to ensure structural integrity and cohesive design integration.
